In-Kind Donations
In-kind donations are all non-monetary gifts, including
donations of food, clothing, supplies, services and etcetera.
Due to limited space at the shelter, we can only accept
donations that will be put to use right away. Please call us
to find out our immediate needs.
When we don't have space, we are grateful to Community Thrift for
accepting gently used clothes, furniture or household goods at
their store and making a contribution to AWS. Please drop
your items off at Community Thrift and let them know that you would
like the donation to benefit AWS, code #172. They are located at

Community Thrift is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency and your donation
is tax-deductible.
Wishlist
We are often asked what additional items the shelter needs. Here
is our current wishlist!
For residents:
- Grocery store and household store gift cards;
- (Nonviolent) DVDs/movies for children;
- English-language learning programs;
- Electronic dictionaries;
- A new couch in the shared living area
For the office:
- A high-quality paper shredder
