Multilingual Access Model (MLAM) Coordinator

The MLAM Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the language advocacy program at AWS, which includes the recruitment of and follow-up work with active paid, on-call language advocates (also referred to as "MLAMs") at the shelter.  The MLAM Coordinator also leads the organizing of language support for residents and oversees the crisis line coverage schedule at AWS. The MLAM Coordinator works closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure that women from particularly marginalized communities are represented in trainings, which the two coordinators co-facilitate.
